Acting for Animation
It’s been a while since I posted something. I’ve been rather busy with my journey. I have officially (as of my last review on Sunday) finished my last workshop of ianimate.net
and have learned so much. It has been great to see my shots and how much I’ve grown over the last 1 1/2 years. I can’t wait to continue to press on to be the best, I am now devoting myself to acting, and gesture drawing to help myself grow and become a better animator, which leads me to this post
. I have watched Uta Hagen’s acting class which I purchased at the beginning of this workshop and learned a ton. I need to now sit and take notes and dive deeper (along with a hopeful Christmas present of her books). But I write this post to share something I was shared to by a fellow ianimate student. Check out this guy’s blog post, Josh’s Blog (http://joshb-log.blogspot.com/2011/01/acting-and-animation.html). He gives some great thoughts on acting and also some reviews on some great acting DVD’s and books. Hope you all enjoy and happy animating!
I'm a student of ianimate.net learning all I can about this amazing art form. I absolutely positively love animation and plan to continue to learn all I can for the rest of my life! I also hope to keep this website updated not only for others out there but for me to see my own progress and look back at what I can accomplish with hard work. Happy animating :)
